Let me say that when I first watched the first two episodes of this anime back in 2019 I REALLY HATED IT! I couldn't grasp the hype nor did I think that this whole story setup would lead to anything and therefore will be one of those bad anime which are composed of single episodes with no development and just being funny on a slap stick kind of level. After I gave this show a second shot in 2021 I was proved soooo wrong! Oh boy! THIS is a RomCom I was craving for, and I mean badly! I watched a ton years ago when this genrewas thriving with content and especially the last years it became less and less content and even those few shows that showed up once in a while couldn't fully maintain what made this genre so popular back in the days!

The story plot in itself became more and more clear and therefore was established in the first season. After that you could enjoy the introduction and acting of all those well fitting characters. It never became boring since new characters were introduced in a perfect matter and smaller plottwists were placed to raise the attention of those watching before it gets too stagnant.

What I really loved was to see how past events had some influence of the characters behavior, for example the trials Fujiwara Chika had to endure because of the president and therefore was more and more on alert when it came down to his skills.
You could totally see how Kaguya's icy character melted more and more until nothing was left and Miyuki became more and more confident in obtaining his goal! Especially the last episode in this season explained perfectly his ambitions and why he did everything until that point from the beginning on. I love those things, it contributes to the finale and that is absolutely important to give every action a meaning!

The voice actors did such a fantastic job that I was always laughing and Kaguya became more and more adorable. Her character especially because of her changes throughout all those seasons was perfectly portrayed from icy to shy to lovely, each emotion was so credible (even if they've overdone it sometimes, but that fits the silliness of this RomCom).
There wasn't a single character I didn't like, so perfect score here! For sound and character. The OPs and EDs are without further ado super enjoyable which made me her them more often than necessary!

Afterall the enjoyment and excitement for each episode were immense! I'm actually glad I've watched them in the end and had the luxury to binge the whole first season since that helped me a lot to get hooked for more. I'm kinda envious for those who can binge through the whole show since everything's released now.

Ah, one more thing!
At the last episode I was kinda not satisfied how things turned out at first, but in the end, especially the very end of it made me happy to a point where I can say that this conclusion of this season was well done.

For those who haven't watched this show yet and are in to maybe more fun than romantic or even in both, you should watch it, I'd go as far and say this is a "MUST WATCH" title.
