I'm sure many of us growing up watching Disney Channel. So we are already very familiar with a beloved tales about Beauty and the Beast. Looking at the poster for this anime, I get that feeling again. But how is it really? Let's find out about the highly-anticipated 2017 fall anime of studio Wit: the Ancient Magnus's Bride. The story start with our little protagonist, a little 15 year-old girl by the name of Hattori Chise. The little poor girl seems to have no will to live anymore, but in spite of killing herself, she is conviced to be sold in the market in a lasttrying to find a shelter. Luckily for her and for us, a demon-looking wizard named Elias Ainsworth, bought her and gave her a loving home in a rural area of England. From now on, we follow the adorable and struggling life of Chise and the magical world that she left a big impression on.

The world in the Ancient Magus' Bride is big and colorful. Each of the characters has their own personality enough to be distinguished and play a part in every episode but still dont take the spotlights away from our 2 amazing main characters. Chise at first, is despressed, insecure and clearly don't ever trust anything in the world. Her development during the series, the way she's gradually falling in love with Elias, is just admirable. But she actually didn't change that much, she was always the loving type, caring for others and a person that's worth to rely on.

On the other hand, Elias is a creature of logic. He can see the illogical in human beings' decisions but he never understand why. He simply see the ways everything as it is. That makes him a likable protagonist and explain his kinda naive behaviors towards Chise at the start. His developments also are very impressive.

The animation have very high quality, pleasing to watch with a shoujo style very alike Akatsuki no Yona and beautiful backgrounds everywhere.

The music is also great, especially the op1 Here by Junna.

Overall, imo The Ancient Magus's Bride is an enjoyable anime just as expected. But still a anime's worth watching
