Review of A Lull in the Sea

Now this its gonna sound contradictory based in the punctuation that i give to the series but i didnt really ended falling in love with the anime althought there where some moments that i like it , which that doesnt mean that this series is any good all the opposite i think the quiality overall of this series was pretty good. I gonna firt name the things that i liked and after the ones that not and thought were bad under my eyes, and can be the main reasonw that didnt really make click to me the series maybe those negative points could variate formperson.

Well starting with the things that i really like about tthe series, the scenaries are basically another character in the series the amount of presence that emanates and how beautiful are made its outstanding and actually goes along so well with the mood that each scene its trying display from really sad and melancolics moments to more chill and happy, that together with that colors are the perfect combination to delight us and make us to draw away our look to those scenaries.The animation i found it really nice couldnt notice anyhting that would be really cheap or bad animated or would be a huge contrast from one scene to another.

The story happens all in the same place without taking us to anywhere else (i mean i didnt even need it to beging with) but its mostly an slice of life with some fantasy and the central theme its love you could say (dont ask me exactly what kind of love because in general terms i could interpretate it like romantic most of the time and revolvers around differents persons, not so much the kind of love of an familty or friends althought there where some moments that from one way or another you could see , but the main one its romantic). The development of the characters its pretty good and i think one of the main stars of the series and what makes standing out from others, from the begginng until the end you see how in more or less degree each characters that its presented to us change gradually in the series based in the differents situations that have to face in an really organic way for most part.

The sound in general i rellay like it the op and end both of them, i would stay as favorite with the firts ending its really nice and sometimes i listen to it, the ost its really nice and to me even throught there wasnt one that you could say its a hit in general terms made his work in those really sad moments.

Now the bad points, firts than anything based in how its presented to us the characters from the beggings the actions that they take feel really forced (at least to some of them) and contradictoried based in her personalities at least from the firts couple of caps , there wasnt any kind of justification to those actions (or in these cases secrets that are tell from one to another) which are the one that ocasionets some of the subsecuent dilemas or problems that our character have to deal with. Althought a little before the firts half of the series i couldnt notice any of this fast paced or incongruent direction on the characters, maybe because the main plot has been set off based in those previous incidents, which if it wasnt so stupid and senseless made , i wouldnt actually complain about it.
The other thing its the desings of the characters , that chibi-like style doesnt suit at all this series and the content of the story in general that deliver us, i wish it could have some more mature and no so childlish desing, it can seem that doesnt affect anything the series but for me its play a big rol in how experience and empathize with the characters. And talking about empathize even thought we have seen our cclasic extrovert and impulsive protagonist or that introvert but with good intentions girl that have been used so many times, i wish we could get some characters with more deephers layers and no so much simple, that way we could end up with something from being good to actually amaizing i think more based in how well this series most of the time develop the characters. I mean just imagine how crazy could be having actually more complex characters with more deephers layers under with an good development like this series did, and i say this because this series has 26 and our main characters are four-five ish althought later we are introduced two more, the actually amount that its properly develop it and are interesting enought that plays a rol overall important are no more than three exagerating fourth, there are some that really doesnt are interesting enought or actually are just used to fullfill something and are dischardted without an proper end or even development from the beggeing to end.

Many of the negative points that i have mentioned it might variates from person to person and even turn out in positive ones , which doesnt mean the series were bad at all , i thing the quality of how its narrated together with how beautiful its the animation and the scenaries staged really worth to watch it and actually it might outweight the negative ones. What the series propose delivers it pretty well , coming without any kind of bias or prejuice in between i gave this series an 8 because overall its an good series. its might resonates with some more than others depending of what you give more importance.Recommended to anyone at least to give it a chance if you are interested, you might ending liking it.
