Review of Pop Team Epic

Pop Team Epic seems to be the type of anime (or manga) that people either love or hate, so I was surprised to find myself impartial. None of the jokes and punchlines really made me laugh, although they did manage to wrangle a few smiles out of me. At the same time, I wasn't bored, and I had no problems watching to the end of the anime. I've never really got black humour and non-sequitur humour and after watching this, I can safely say that it's not the style of humour I enjoy. At the same time, I don't regret watching it. It has areally interesting format and it's something I've never seen before. If you have some time to kill, I'd definitely recommend giving it a go, because there are some pretty cool segments. It was also fun picking out all the pop references!
