Review of Devilman: Crybaby

Slade's Quick Review So this show is f$cking weird... The animations style looks closer to american and I am unsure why that they did it like that. I suppose the animation had to match the tone of the show, which was balls to the wall WTF is going on? Gore and nudity don't much effect me anymore so I easily looked past the excessive amounts of it. However I feel with the tone of the writing it wouldn't make sense to sensor it. The show had a strong beginning feeling much like a bad-ass protag versus legions of darkness, but it turned into hey letsfocus on all these other nobodies and the main character can have an episode for every 3 stupid episodes. Then it threw an ending at you like there was some sort of build up to it...but not really. I suppose my overall opinion of the show is... I think i liked it?
