Review of Devilman: Crybaby
I may be biased because i'm very fond of these kind of animes but i really really loved this one. The ending fucked me up for a whole week because I did not see it coming at all. The art was in my opinion absolutely beautiful, i like the "looser" and more old school style. I really liked the characters too, they may not show much character development but I still got pretty attached to them, especially Akira. The music fits the theme really well, it adds to the feeling (however i do think the opening is not that entertaining and it is one i easily skip) Theonly thing i wish was that not everything was so rushed, everything is squeezed into only 10 episodes and don't get me wrong, I prefer shorter animes but this one felt like it needed more. The story could've been more interesting if it was stretched a little, I would've loved to know more of the characters and their backgrounds.
