Review of Dororo

It's the redemption story of a child against his family; a revenge plot. It's a feudal demons themed episodic anime, similar to the formula Inuyasha follows, but with a very specific quest to one of the main characters with his own family in the way of it. The main character(s) are attrocious. Dororo is basically the useless support character to the other protagonist (Hyakkimaru), who's horribly monote and robotic. You end up following 2 horrible characters mixed in with equally terrible but short-lived characters every episode. The pacing gets incredibly slow once the main idea of the plot is revealed; every fight becomes dreadful to watch. Thedemons look randomly generated on some fighting game and the fights really don't get any better. Hyakkimaru's (protagonist) skill stay the same throughout the entire show.

The ending is awfully anti-climactic.
