Review of The World is Still Beautiful

After watching countless garbage disguised as romantic anime, it was rather refreshing to finally watch something really good. It is still a puzzle why this anime has such low ratings because if anything Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii deserves a higher rating than it is getting. Having had Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii on my system for up to a year, i finally decided to give it a watch, i initially went into it with the assumption it would be another cliché filled garbage of an anime, but after watching the first episode i felt compelled to watch the next episode because something about it looked promising, afterwatching the second episode i just knew i would totally love this anime, "This" i said to myself "Is what i have been searching for in a romantic anime", after finishing i came online looking for a second season, an OVA or a movie but unfortunately there was none, so here i am writing a review.

The story, although unique, is quite simple, what really made this a great watch was the natural development between the characters, they start out not understanding each other and gradually grow to love each other like crazy, and that to me is what i loved about Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii.

I don't want to spoil it for you but if you are feeling discouraged about watching it based on its low ratings i want to encourage you to try out the first 3 episodes, you will be asking for more after you do, its better than most highly rated romantic animes on MyAnimeList, believe me i have watched them all.
