"Oh boy, another tasteless isekai with an unoriginal protago... hang on. This may just be what we have been waiting for" was my reaction to this anime and personally, it has to be said that "The rising of the shield hero' is a very enjoyable anime to watch despite the false reviews and outrageous opinions given. I won't write a essays' worth of 'review' since these are meant to be short and sweet. Story: Starting the anime off with a 40min+ episode really sets the whole plot for the story and I love how they portray the multiple characters goals and personalities thru this first episode, however, it does slow down in some episodes but that is forgiven due to the remarkable arc climaxes seen throughout the anime.

Art: Nothing too major to write about, your standard art style with some not so mediocre CGI scattered through at some points.

Sound: Two of the most beautifully sung openings in anime history, The first being "RISE" and the second "FAITH" (both sung by MADKID) absolutely get you hyped for the episode and never disappoint. The OST isn't bad either and really sets the tone for many scenes, although I did find the second Ending to be a bit odd and never really stuck with me

Characters: Nothing much to say besides they're really likable. Except for bitch/whore and trash (you'll get the reference later)

Enjoyment: Hell yeah, absolutely loved it.

Overall: 9, A definite watch for any fan that enjoys an interesting story and good characters
