Review of A Place Further Than The Universe

Yorimoi followest 4 girls in the quest to make their youth fruitful. It's that simple, and yet it can change a man's perspective of life. Sometimes I get bothered with series that pretends to be motivational but this series is not one of those. It proves to you that the only thing that's keeping you to the floor is yourself. The greatest vice is the ego, and in this series, you will find the true value of self Story: 8 Yorimoi's value is not in the story but don't get the wrong idea, the story serves its purpose as the base for the series. There is noREAL problem with it but it somewhat lacks. For example, they could've at least explored Antarctica more but I digress. It is solid but not AMAZING.

Art: 9

Yorimoi is beautiful. The backgrounds are TOP TIER, the characters are expressive but it's not unique. It's serviceable for what it wants to project and it projects what it needs so the art is solid.

Sound: 10

Ho God, the abuse of the insert songs that this anime has is GOLDEN. The whole soundtrack is amazing even if you just listen to itself but adding the visuals, the emotion and weight, the impact of the inserts is Masterfully done. The OP is Great and the ED is good but not amazing.

Character: 10

The whole ensemble, from the main four to the whole crew is simply amazing. Even the most forgettable characters have enough time to at least get some sort of familiarity. They all have a heart and are relatable.

Enjoyment: 10

This anime can make even the coldest man feel something. You get engrossed by it and it goes the extra mile to feel special. It's moving the same way Clannad was but Yorimoi did that in a 12 Episode run-time. So just go watch it and see what I mean.

It's not a MASTERPIECE but it sure was AMAZING.
