Review of Steins;Gate 0

SUFFERING;GATE 0 ( ꜱᴀᴅ ꜱᴄɪᴇɴᴛɪꜱᴛ ) As the worldline shifts, so is the tone of the story. Steins;Gate 0 is more of a Sci-Fi Drama than a Sci-Fi Thriller, if you are looking for suspense in par of the original, look elsewhere. This anime is best viewed in tandem with the S;G 0 Visual Novel, as some crucial scenes are in the Visual Novel and some scenes are unique to the Anime. There are some side stories that the anime picks up only for it to drop a few episodes after and never get fully explored, but then again S;G 0 Visual Novel is harder to adaptinto an Anime as it follows a more non-linear path than the original S;G.

That being said, if you are not bothered about the direction the anime is taking in the middle episodes and is okay seeing the Future Gadget Lab doing Slice of Life then i'm pretty sure you'll enjoy S;G 0.

All in all, i think Steins;Gate 0 is a story worth telling, and the journey that Okabe and the Lab Members take adds depth to their characters, and it's ending is one of the best story tie-ins i have ever seen.
