I dislike Ueki's character 'development' - From a chillax kind of guy with wide relaxed eyes into high-energy shounen protag that keeps screaming and has tiny 'fighting' eyes. The rest of the characters, and enemies, are quite stereotypical (and so is their development) but usually fun. The power system is fun (Fulfil condition X in order to activate your power), and similar to Jojo or HXH and so on, but feels broken towards the end (Suddenly, many enemies don't have a condition to meet and they can just spam their powers) The fighting is usually great and filled with strategy and trying to understand your opponent's powers(like jojo)

The story is a classic shounen battle-royal/tournament story. 6. The art is average but dynamic so it's fun. 6.5. The characters are fun. 6. I enjoyed the fights and comedy quite a lot. 8.
