Note: I hate quantifying a manga scoring in multiple categories - story/characters/pacing etc - because to me that's just min-max type of scrutiny that dilutes the holism of the entire work. So, I'm going to score the entire manga as a whole and nothing else and tell you why I liked the manga. Rena.. It was personal belief that Rena was "Higurashi" (the embodiment of the work, not the cicadas). Every Xbox profile, Every Profile, Every thing I can use Rena's name, I use it. I currently own a scooter. Its a slim and girly looking scooter. Can you guess it's name? It's Rena. And althoughit took me 10 years to name it with a name that'd fit - Rena fits.

And this manga is Rena. And Rena is Higurashi. So this manga is Higurashi.

There's nothing this manga really does bad tbh, It shows Rena and more Rena is always better, but ultimately, my enjoyment isn't a 10 and was at an 8 because.. it just didn't move me like Arc 7 did, you know? I don't know if it's on me or the manga, but it is what it is.
