Review of Black Rock Shooter

Best phrase to describe this series is: surprising. During these 8 episodes you will be freaked out, sad, laughing and only during the last 2 episodes will you come to fully comprehend the plot of the series. All that being said, the strong points of this anime besides it's ever changing plot are the battle scenes, the display of characters emotions and the general flow of the story. BRS is almost like the Japanese attempt to capture the genre Magical Realism in animated form. How you will react towards the ending is dependant on the individual but as a whole the anime is worth watching.
