Review of Monster

Who would be the Anti-Christ in these times & could the son of the devil actually compete with evil in modern times? This series asks this question and reviews it thoroughly showing the capacity for evil within humanity. This show sticks very closely to reality imagine if you were watching a regular drama but just animated pretty similar. That's not to say the animation isn't great because it does capture a very realistic style. Which from what I've seen from the manga is what that is going for as well. If you're in for a slow burn with I would totally recommend this. Ithink would compare to the 'The Wire' in that it's worth sticking through the slow parts for the deep character developments and complex morality issues. Johan, Tenma, and Nina are all extremely compelling characters.
