Review of Monster
When it comes to rating Monster, things get extremely confusing! monster is an extremely good anime with forgivable mistakes! let me explain more ;) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1-24 (let's say Season 1!) EPISODE (1-6) (5 Star Episode) the first 6 episodes are extremely satisfying, watching a good doctor (Tenma) to deal with selfish and disgusting people who only care about status and nothing else, treating with people's life as toys and opportunities to get themselves more popular.they made me to root for Tenma and Then all of his moral codes gets questioned when the patient he saved turns out to be a Murderer!
now this is the part where they fucked it up:
after this revelation, he decided to hunt Johan and kill him! OK wait a fucking minute! for a Dr.clean who has done nothing wrong his whole life this is extreme, and stupid, he should have cooperated with cops to get him arrested (just like what L in death note tried to do with Light).
this fluffy doctor even joins some weird Chinese people to turn him into assassin!! WTF
this is not like tenma at all, Moreover his sense of responsibility doesn't make any sense either
so the patient you saved was a killer! BUT you didn't fucking know that, he is not your responsibility and lets not forget that Tenma is not the only person who operated on Johan! other people moved on like reasonable people but this irrational idiot didn't.
one of the worst thing about this show is that it is EXTREMELY long, for example here is all the important stuff happens from episode 7 till 24 (7 and 24 are counted here):
1) Tenma meets Nina
2)Dieter joins WAIT this asshole wasn't important at all! he wasn't useful in any fucking way! forget it this one doesn't count!
the True 2!) we learn about Johan's past a little! that he lived in kindergarten 511
3)Nazi parties are interested in Johan and there is a walking little shit named BABY (for real!)
4)Tenma and Lunge (the only logical character in the series) had a fight together, no biggie!
5)Roberto (Johan's right hand) fucks Tenma's ex fiancé (Ev..OH I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT HER!)
-yeah how would you feel if you ex girlfriend gives back your ring right at the moment you lose your status? yeah like shit, that's how you would feel and that gold digger bitch would be the bad guy here right? well NO! According to the series! Eva only got depressed because Johan killed her family (one more reason to love Johan!) she deserved what was happening to her and the show desperately wanted to make us sympathize with her
yeah that's it! 20 fucking episode for that!! this could easily be summed up in (at most) 6 episode.

25-40 (Season 2)
Now this Season! (yeah this anime is so fucking! long)
i love this season! because finally we get to meet Johan and boy isn't he a fantastic speaker?
in episode 25 we are introduced to Karl, seems like he is looking for his rich daddy! so he joined his kinda club where people join to read for him, and yeah you guessed it Johan is a member also.
now episode 26 (5 Star Episode)
one of my favorite, Johan get to talk (fucking finally!) and he proves how charismatic he is, really at one point in some sort of dump-like-place, he describes it for Schuwald (super rich Daddy!) and all you want is to be next to Johan and hug him! he is extraordinary eloquent
and in the end of this Ep we see Richard! the poor bastard who was getting close!
in 27 and 28 Johan is trying to convince that pussy Karl to meet his father and we learn about Richard's dark secret
EPISODE 29 (5 Star Episode)
Johan is tired so he decided to fuck Richard up! i really LOVE how he buy the whisky (he Fucking Knew he is going to mentally break him) first he make Richard to accept the guy he killed was just a little innocent baby! then he convince him he had no evidence against the dude he killed (even though there were 9 rape case about him!) and then he calls on his bullshit that he was just drunk and making him believe with that sin he shouldn't meet with his daughter, NOW it's time to give him the whisky! after he gets drunk it would be a good time to bring the idea of suicide!
This episode is PERFECT
after episode 29
we meet tenma again and he is doing push ups (even though he is going to shoot Johan!) and he gets a chance to shoot Johan but he chicken out! and some old fuck tells him a weirdly related story about a guy who shoot blah blah blah!
EPISODE 33,34 (5 Star Episode)
in this one Johan is not present but something similar is!, Nihilism.
it was so pleasing to see that kid kicking that poor fuck and says: ("HELP ME!,DON'T KILL ME!, right?!")
and seeing Johan spoting the place Tenma will choose for shoot him, and watching Johan in agony after he read the book that brings back his dark childhood so he faints, that was cool! (usually i say it's bullshit but not this time)
after he receives a letter from THE Whore! he decided to meet her and she talks about cock with him!! (it was kinda cool to see how Johan remains calm and looking at her like she is a maggot which she is!) but the best part is when she realize Johan did anticipate her betrayal so he asked Roberto to fuck her beforehand! (both literally and metaphorically!)
Episode 38 (5 Star Episode)
till this Ep tenma was wasting time (again) and Johan changes his plan,he decided to discover his past -after he lost consciousness- instead of taking control of Europe's Economy! (Usually i say what a fucking idiot but knowing Johan i'm pretty sure it was a piece of fucking cake for him and he could do it later!)
So he burn's Schuwald's Library (well she burns!) OK i'm going to say it! how the fuck did he convince her to do that, i know Johan is Smart and all but we just saw him 2 time in action! it's not that fair to take advantage of those times forever BUT i kinda understand technically it's kinda impossible to show every time he manipulates a victim and he is supposed to represent the IDEA of such a person.
anyway!, tenma comes and points the gun at Johan for the forth time now! and Johan gives his memorable pointing to his head reaction! it was so cool i mean even though tenma is the one with gun but Johan is mentally Superior here! tenma is scared not Johan!
and in the end that FlashBack Bitch comes! (Nina) and shoots at Johan and she misses all five of them! and Johan vanishes somehow! and the big surprise! tenma didn't shot him! WOW WHO SAW THAT COMING!

here we are introduced to grimmer, he was in kinder 511 too and he is basically Hulk!
Episodes 43,44 (4.7 Star Episode)
i'm going to sum it up with one sentence!:
"such a cute girl!, wait NO,NO,NOOOOOO....."
Episode 45
well Johan frames that horny dude! his face was so funny at the end! he was like "what the fuck happened?!!"
EPISODE 49 (5 Star Episode)
Never let Johan talks to your kid, let him talk to you ex's! ;)
episode 50 till 59 are not necessary, they weren't that good! the only good part was when Johan in 56 meet with her mother (not literally!)
EPISODE 59 (5 Star Episode)
it's weird! this guy martin didn't impacted the story itself at all but his story was really fascinating and how that dude tried to crush his mental state! it's a really good episode that's not important to the show but you would love it!
Episode 61 (FUCK THIS STUPID CLICHÉ EPISODE)
this Episode made me HATE Nina, it was extremely stupid, all she does is getting a little flashback BUT Not the whole thing because if she does her character is over on this show!
at one point she tried to suffocate his therapist while she was KINDA! Possessed! (no joke) while screaming "TADAIMA!" well OKAERI MOTHERFUCKER! now shut the fuck up!
Episode 62-63 were totally useless
From 64 to 70 is just basically getting other characters to realize where Johan is headed
Nothing serious.
Episode 70
Johan's people are giving gun to people in a village to recreate something like what happened in kindergarten 511
(side note: Johan is looking for the True Monster who made him miserable:Franz Bonaparta)
which now he turned into Santa Clause! which didn't make any sense! that a monster like him is sorry

Episode 72
funny fight between Lunge and Roberto! worth the time :)
OH let's not forget! NINA gets Flashbacks for about 5 minutes! this girl is a real psychopath, I'm telling you!
EPISODE 73,74 (5 Star Episode)
Finally Johan appears! and it was cool and tenma didn't shot!....FUCKING ASSHOLE!
but I understand!...just kidding I don't!!
Johan is so vulnerable in this episode, if I was tenma I would shot that kid and give a hug to Johan!! well I wouldn't shot Nina because Johan would kill me after that but I would if he didn't care!
in was weird and kinda cheating, tenma should have shot him, not that delusional alcoholic fuck but any way Johan get's shot and later in last Episodes it is revealed what Truly fucked Johan in his Childhood, her mother's choice

Conclusion:
A Great anime which should have been shorter! YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT because of Johan he is such a complex villain, there are so many depth to this character, you can understand his motives and why he is the way he is? and at the end you realize Monsters are not burn that way, and they are still out there among us (this was the meaning of the last Episode when we see Johan has escaped)
