The original Galaxy Angel anime atleast tried to be funny. The Broccoli-based manga for both the original and Rune had capable shounen leads. But I guess it's the new saying: "Nobody's going to come to someone else's party if there's no reason to." At least Strike Witches and Sekirei had fanservice AND SPOKE IN ENGLISH. Galaxy Angel Rune had a lot of really attractive characters and art. But it's otaku-pandering garbage that just FAILS SO HARD. (The fact that this show was being pushed in the US by Bandai Visual USA, a company that mainly catered to high-end otaku and game middle fingers to everybodyelse who dared have an opinion that's unagreeable to them, didn't help matters much either.)
