Review of School Rumble: 2nd Semester

Im sad to say School Rumble 2nd Semester is a giant disappointment. 26 episodes that dont even go anywhere. No proper conclusion. Tsukamoto Tenma is so annoying and unlikeable now. To the point I wish Harima Kenji would just give up on her. Lets be real, Tenma's sister and the blond tsundere are much better girls. Harima himself is also a giant idiot for constantly dragging his feet and not opening his eyes to reality. So both main characters were ruined. These two used to be among my favorite anime characters in season 1. Honestly I dont even know what season 2 is even about. Season 1 wasso fun and left me wanting more.
The problem with love stories is that they fall apart if you tease the audience for too long. You cant drag a confessing for this long it eventually becomes obnoxious. You're basically giving your audience blue balls.

Instead of character progression you get character regression. Progression just keeps getting reset, its annoying.

Im gonna have to give this a mixed review.

You are given a "conclusion" in the 2 episode special (School Rumble 3rd Semester). Its a bit quick and should have properly been integrated into 2nd Semester. But it does offer closure. So make sure to watch 3rd Semester.
