Sonic Soldier Borgman · review

The story is simple— a group of heroes (Borgman team) fights mechanical demons (Youma) threatening their city. Sounds cool, right? Unfortunately, the execution is all over the place. The pacing is inconsistent, with episodes dragging on meaningless side plots while glossing over moments that could have added depth. Characters Ryo Hibiki -- The group leader with a tragic past. He's supposed to be cool, but his lack of charisma makes him forgettable. Anice Farm -- The female lead who exists just to add variety to the group. She’s there to fight and look tough, but most of the time, she’s just a background character with no real impact. ChuckSweager --The comic relief who occasionally helps, but his existence doesn't matter.

Animation

The animation is decent—good according to 80s standards.

Final Thoughts

Sonic Soldier Borgman is your average 80s/90s mecha, sci-fi anime with the same repetitive storyline. Aliens are coming from space, our heroes fight or kill them, and then the same process repeats in every episode. It’s a waste of time—boring stuff.
