Review of Fate/Zero

For the record it's been a while sense Iv'e seen this anime and their isn't a particular shift in quality between the two. So this is a review for both seasons. I mean your hardly going to watch just the one any way. The bad The first episode of the anime is pretty slow especially if you've seen fate Stay night. The ending isn't really an end in it's own right as this is a prequel. Bezerker's master doesn't really jump out at me, he's not bad per say just not up to this anime's standards. The good Easily the best part of this anime arethe characters, theirs lots of them and almost all of them get the time they deserve. Just sitting a few of these characters in a room and having them talk about their conflicting Ideologies sounds real boring but the characters are lovable enough that I don't mind(they do have plenty of trying to kill each other too so don't worry about it). Even the most repulsive of them are either likeable, interesting or a bit of both. The highlights for me are rider who simply feels larger then life even when he's a super tall anime character, and the MC. Kiritsugu is also quite interesting, his goal is world peace this is something he doesn't stray from this goal he never stops trying to do the right thing, but the thing is their's really not a single thing he's unwilling to do if it's for the greater good. Unlike other anime were they just tell us that the main character is ruthless and jaded but they end up being morally upstanding individuals, he is brutal as f*** more so then most of his rivals even, which adds an interesting level of moral ambiguity to the situation.

The art and animation are both top notch this has some of the best fights I have seen in anime, which are creative, smart and flashy. The animation is also pretty excellent.
