Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

Death is probably the hardest thing we have to deal with as mortal creatures. This show almost expertly shows us why that is. This review is one of the tougher ones I've had to make because there is so much about this show I struggle to put into words. The premise of the show seems cute, if not sad, and it's exactly that. As the show goes on we understand all the views of the group of friends on their gone but not forgotten buddy. The show is mostly lighthearted though there are dark undertones and story lines. I really cannot express a lot ofwhat i want to without spoilers so i will just say. The last 2 or 3 episodes made me cry A LOT. I highly recommend this anime, but be prepared for an emotional journey.
