Story This review might contain slight spoilers. School days is a very polarizing anime. It is a dumpster fire of a show that some dislike for the same reasons people like it for. The story is very simple and cliche, but it develops a bit later on. A great case for mood whiplash. . Starts off boring and run of the mill, but gets much better towards the end, so watch the first few episodes at 2x the speed and you wont miss much. You have to watch most of the boring parts for the payoff at the end. There is also way too much unnecessaryfan service that doesn't contribute to story in any way. There are also huge gaps in logic in the plot. A travesty of a plot, but oddly entertaining in a twisted way.

Art
Animation was very average and not super memorable. There were some shots, where I thought the video paused because barely anything was moving.

Sound
Music was fairly standard, but there is a one very good song playing at the end of episode 6.

Character.
Characters are fairly one dimensional and unlikable, but unlikeable characters can be entertaining to watch get their punishment. Supporting characters are very one note and I had a hard time remembering their names because they were just unmemorable. Also a lot of the female characters look the same other than hairstyle. Characters seem to lack logic and basic common sense especially towards the end.

Enjoyment
If you want to watch a so bad, its good anime, its good anime to rip on, this is an excellent choice. I would consider this to be the anime equivalent of The Room for being technically bad, but memorable for the same reasons. Good meme material too.

Overall
So bad its good. A cult anime worthy of a watch just to watch the dumpster fire burn.
