Review of Natsume's Book of Friends

Anime that makes you relax feel nostalgia and sad at the same time i felt that and alot more when watching this great anime. The story is engaging and the world in it is even greater at times. When i think about an anime with japanese demons or youkais this is the one that springs to mind at once this is the one that captures everything there is. Its not terribly gory or filled with scary or evil monsters its not even filled with a fight for the end of the world story no this anime creates a masterpiece by staying true to what inmy head if there ever was a world filled with youkais then this would be the one. The story gives me a feeling of loneliness that captures me to the core and the warmth that comes from both humans and youkais alike in it is even greater. For some it might feel too boring or slow but for me when i started watching it i cant help but feel trapped and needing to watch the next episode no matter what.

Im bad at saying anything about art in anime but for me it fitted the anime theme perfect and it felt nice on the eye when watching it.

The music in this anime makes it one of those masterpieces that i cant help to talk about. It gives a heart wringing sound and a feeling of what this anime is. Its music i cant help but to remember whenever i think of this anime. Its relaxing yet powerfull as it gives the true feeling of what this sad , hearwarming and great anime is.

The lonely boy who have problems making friends because of his ability to see youkais might sound like an old cliche for some but this anime crushed every thought about it. Natsume is a great made character who along with youkais and friends are made to truly fit the theme of this anime to bits. Its like a perfect puzzle with every piece.

I cant tell how many times i have thought i need to rewatch it and how many times i have done exacly that. This anime is one of the greater ones out there atleast it was for someone like me. Times passed away as the anime pulled me into another world and i admit with my sheer enjoyment i have shed tears while watching this. There was never a moment i felt i didnt want to watch it.

To the end this anime will be in my heart which i hope will be in many others. The story, the songs the characters everything about it creates something that makes you want it more and more and makes you feel every emotion there is possible to feel. Its an anime of greatness which calms anyones heart. So what else is there to say then you should watch it heck anyone whos love for anime is great should watch this perfect anime.
