Review of Hunter x Hunter

Hunter x Hunter is a pretty solid anime. It is debatably underrated for no particular reason, considering the unique plot, fun-loving characters and great soundtrack. If you like shounen and/or action/adventure, you will like this anime. I will give you a spoiler free synopsis: The story follows a boy named Gon Freecss traveling high and low for his father, who happens to be a traveling hunter. During his adventure he meets several friends and several rivals. Gon is very determined to do anything to get stronger and become a worthy hunter. We are introduced to several characters who want to become a hunter for their own,valid reasons.

One of my favorite things about this anime is the lack of filler episodes.( No shade to other long shounen of course, since some filler episodes are funny while others are just a waste) The lack of fillers keep the story fun and interesting as we go through each Hunter x Hunter arc.

The only thing that hurts many hunter x hunter fans' heart is the fact that the anime has never been finished, thus many anime watchers have turned the read the manga(if they haven't done so already).
