Warning possible Spoilers Does anyone remember the show Wacky Races well picture it with badass characters, violence, destruction and a beautiful artstyle then you get Redline. The story is about JP who takes part in a deadly race called Redline and it is being held on a dangerous world called Roboworld there he meets another human called Sonoshee McLaren (Get it like the car) and they both fight it out over first place. Usually stories in Racing shows are straight forward, but this had more to it, it wasn't just your everyday normal race it's Redline the deadliest race in the galaxy and having it happen on aplanet that hates this race is even more exhilarating. JP's journey was also very fun seeing a guy who has a contract with the space mafia and after so many races just wants to win one and this was his opportunity to do that, but he also had to worry about Sonoshee and the other racers too, luckily he had a badass car to help him get through this race.

I really enjoyed the characters in this show JP was a pretty suave guy and not just some hot rod douchebag so he definitely the kind of guy you'd want to stick up for in the race plus he has his ragtag crew to help him out who for two guys can make a cool ass car, Sonoshee also surprised me I was expecting her to be on the Tsundere side but no she was a very charming and respectful woman who is technically after the same thing as JP which is to come 1st place in Redline so you could also get behind her dream too.
The other supporting racers were actually pretty good since they were mainly there as just opponents for JP and Sonoshee they really did remind of the characters in some way from Wacky races because of how they looked and acted which felt very refreshing to see.

Now the Artstyle was glorious those 7 years of development definitely payed off because this was just amazing to look at ranging from the way the characters looked, to the vehicles and even the landscape looked amazing it's very rare to find anime's with this much precision to detail these days, the racing and action was also very good too it was intense and I was on the edge of seat pretty much throughout the whole Redline race wondering whether JP or Sonoshee would actually win and the amount of weapons and gadgets that were used was also pretty damn cool.

If you're a racing fan then look no further than Redline because this is an exciting and beautiful looking movie/film that definitely deserves my 10
