Graduation is about art and showing different art styles with a common base of Hip-Hop and this video is a great representation of that. Great work Mr. West. I can't stress enough how this video sets the tone for an amazing album and work of art. Sure, the animation is a bit sluggish and that holds the video back, but Kanye's voice and sampling in the song make for a great track. The Jay-Z samplein the background creates a constant activity in the song that makes it alive and moving. The character development is done well in this short video. You can really see the connection the bear and Mr. West have and it represents Kanye well. Overall, the is amazing. The sluggish animation, although a bit annoying, creates a bubble of nostalgia. While the song is an incredible gateway to an incredible album.
