Review of Gintama

Gintama is definitely an anime that changed my view on anime ultimately. Before Gintama, I was very shoujo/romance based. Gintama really opened up a lot for me. Aside from it showing me the world of shonen anime, the anime itself is, in my opinion, a masterpiece. The characters are so out there compared to other anime I've watched, and it's definitely never a dull moment. I fell in love with almost all the characters because of how well constructed they are. The storyline of Gintama is easy to follow but also, hard to predict. The arcs are seriously what get you going. Some arcs are definitely betterthan others, but they really have deep meanings and they really bring out characters a lot. All episodes got that comedic charm as well as it's serious storytelling.

I literally just loved Gintama all around. First watching, I didn't except for it to get on my top fave list, but there it is. I highly recommend this to ANYONE who watches anime. 260 episodes just isn't enough for this series.

It's also a plus that the OST is super fun to listen to. 10/10 would recommend.
