Review of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

I'm generally not particular about character or plot development; either I like a series or character or I don't. I enjoyed most of the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya except one thing: Haruhi. I enjoyed the visuals, the other characters, even the Hare Hare Yukai dance but Haruhi Suzumiya is just so annoying. The only scene which she was in that I liked was the first part of the 6th episode of the main arc: she shed her disgustedness for the world. Perhaps I suspend my belief too much and react to Haruhi as I would in real life.
