Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

As this anime is in the top 50 on this website, I went into the show with high expectations. The art of Anohana is absolutely stunning. The lines are smooth, colors bold and movements almost relaxed. Even though it was a pretty basic setting, the artwork made me love the town and created the incentive to keep watching. The plot is creative and emotional. It leaves you feeling pleasant and fulfilled, like after a good cry, which you will definitely have throughout the show. At some points it felt a little slow, but as I said, I loved the art which made me continue. Plus, theseries is very short, so it doesn't take long to watch anyway.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this show to anyone who enjoys something light and tear-jerking. It's also a great show if you want to reminisce about youth.
