This is the first review I am planning on posting here. This is because I just can't help but to write one for this movie. I do not think that the art of this anime is very good, especially in comparison to other anime that came out during this time period. But I do believe it adds a kind of element to it, something that differentiates it from the rest. I know it is uncharacteristic to watch old anime that is no longer the latest, but it is good to go back and look at this art style every once in awhile. The story itselfis very realistic and wholesome, there were actually times that I had to take a break from the movie as I felt quite sad and didn't want to bawl my eyes out. The soundtrack is emotional, complementing the scene.

Overall, I enjoyed it, and while it is not one of those timeless classics, I believe it still a movie to watch, and good in its own way.
