The story was good not too complex for us to get lost in and not too simple for it to be predictive and boring. The art was definelty better than the series since the series was in 1999 while the ova was in 2004. Also the music was also composed nicely especially those piano beats. But there were some problems with it. Firsly it was the pacing. They skipped some parts of the Greed Island Arc and so we didn't really get to immerse ourselves into the characters since they were rushing have the half time until near the end of the ova. Thecharacters did develop over the course of the arc and some new characters were introduced but they didn't do a proper job on making the characters "earn" their newfound strengths because they would timeskip those periods when they were training. Overall an ok ova with some great ideas but bad executions.
