Review of Hyouka

I just had to write a review about this show. This is not a regular anime show, its something different and special. Though the genre is romance and mystery, it is based on daily basis life of middle school students Houtarou, Chitanda, Ibara and Satoshi. They gather around at School's Classic literature club and solves mysteries. Their normal school life and the issues they face during the show made me miss my own school days.. it left me with a feeling of sadness, nostalgia and happiness. After the first episode i was not so impressed.. i even wondered why this show was so popular? but asi kept on watching (coz i hate leaving things unfinished) it really grew up on me! I mean its a kind of show you HAVE to watch to understand what i am saying. You'll feel like there is nothing special about it at first, and then at the same time you'll feel its BRILLIANT!
Another thing I really liked with this show that it offers short stories of mystery. The storyline is not consistent and you dont need to remember all the details like in many other shows like AOT or Death Note that sometimes can be too much to handle if you ask me.

After wacthing this anime i now know why it is so highly rated! The brilliant art and warm colors, the perfect combination of music (specially opening for season 1) and the development of the characters is just amazing. I dont think I will find a show like Hyouka again, I miss it too much already. I will rewatch it many times!
