Review of Monster

Monster; A perfect masterpiece So I completed Monster, this anime was something I never expected to be, I was completely baffled at the beginning but as the story went on everything made sense. Monster is about a genius doctor who had revived a monster. This monster loved chaos and destruction. The story is plainly one of the best I've ever seen, without a doubt I loved the entirety of monster but The story was something stood out of any other aspects. A lot of good character interactions and always a sudden turn of events lies within Monster's story. I enjoyed every bit of it. The storyprogresses little slowly but that is what makes the story much better.

The art was also something I loved in monster, even though it's a pretty old anime/manga. I never imagined such good art would exist back then but the animation quality wasn't that good but can't be blamed for.

For the sound, monster had unique opening and ending(s) and the use of multiple ost(s) was perfect. It helped the anime quite making important scenes much tense. I personally liked the second ed and the opening.

Monster has one of the best characters I've seen. Most people loved Johan but I liked
Kenzou Tenma (protagonist) Tenma's character as a doctor never broke throughout the series. Even though I didn't like Johan that much his character was actually fabulous, a perfect antagonist. His character was one of the most mysterious in the entire series, the way he manipulates and corrupts people is horrifying. Many other side characters like Nina, Dieter, Lunge and Grimmer develop a lot.

Personally I enjoyed Monster lot more than I actually expected when I started it, I never thought I'd actually cry watching it multiple times, usually I predict most of the anime's plots but every twist in Monster is completely unpredictable, the plot is insanely good, I got very attached to characters throughout the series.

Overall I'd give Monster a 10/10 since I loved every bit of it, if you're into Crime/mystery/ psychological anime I recommend you to watch it. It's absolutely a perfect masterpiece.
