Review of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (2009)

the original season of this anime was fine I had no real problems with it it was just another anime to me. But this second season is horrendous half of the season is dedicated to one story arc which involves a time loop. Its your typical time loop plot just repeating the time sequence until you can figure out how to end it. This could have been executed fairly well but instead its done horribly. instead of them doing something new every episode they recycle scenes and im not talking 1 or 2 per episode I mean almost the entire episode. by the endyou've watched 1 episode about 6 times to come to a lack luster end to that arc. Even as someone who didn't really like the first season I was very disappointed in this second season. If you're reading this review before you watch the second season my recommendation would be not to bother with it or if you must skip the time loop arc.
