Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion

Honestly, it was a pretty good watch... The story was nice and original, the characters had depth and realism... though Shinji was a bitch, I still understood why he acted how he acted. There was one scene where Asuka and Rei were in an elevator and that scene alone showed the intense tension between them. It was just a piece of art honestly, although I didn't like the ending much, the rest easily triumphs it... Each character had their struggles and problems, no character was perfect and thats extremely realistic. Other than that, the soundtrack is amazing, the ending theme "Fly me to the moon"made me actually stay for the entire duration of the Ending of an episode, which no anime has done ever. Easily one of the best watches I've ever had.
