Review of Black Butler

The love I have for this is definitely the yaoi love in part. The other part comes from how beautifully placed the immortals (who were all so entertainingly unique) were in old-timey England. BL love: Sebastion who is a magically seductive devil with ambiguous sexuality; Ciel the soft but sadistic bishonen who lends himself as the uke to Sebastion's seme; Grell the queer and vicious ambiguously aligned shinigami; the Undertaker who (to me) seems to be lusting after Sebastion in his own kinky way the immortals of awesome: Sebastion=a boss who thrives on watching Ciel go through shitty situations; the Undertaker who takes the quirky unalignedmad scientist (a personal favorite character type)
The household staff fall into typical stereotypes (with fun violent quirks) and tend to be dull but the beautiful animation and delicious looking foods make them a very acceptable addition.
