Review of Sword Art Online

I just can't think of a reason to recommend this show to anyone. It may not be the worst show out there but there just isn't anything special about it. Sure it helped get a lot of people into anime and popularized its genere but there isn't anything to make this show standout especially if you have already seen many other shows. Sword Art Online is just a show that gets gradually worse and even when it is in its good part the show is still pretty mediocre compared to just about anything else. The plot and story is extremely surface level, characters are either completelyuseless or too overpowered, and theres some pretty major plot holes. Honestly the most enjoyable part of the entire show is its OP and I am completely serious when I say that, the OP is actually slaps for real.

There isnt really a reason to watch this show over anything else. Yes maybe it's not actually that bad and it gets too much hate but the show just anything to write home about. Watch something more engaging.
