Review of School Days
Since it had been years since it was first broadcast, the animation might not have been visually appealing, but the plot made my stomach turn. This wasn't for the audience who expected positive, light, and morally standard plots in most stories published everywhere. This story showed the different personalities per character that could be relevant to our reality. Most characters there were creepy and cruel, and it could be grueling as one internalized the storyline. It may have shown cute and feeling love in the first few episodes; one shouldn't have believed what it presented in the first episode. It made me second-guess what Itruly was watching and if it was right to watch it until the end.
The main character portrayed some men in the world, where most were attracted to women at first but showed their true colors days after love bombing them. I couldn't describe how much of a jerk the MC was, but he was trash in every aspect of the storyline. Regardless of not having the experience of courting someone, as the days went by, he became the most trashy character ever created. The way the storyline was crafted was unpredictable. You never knew who to love or trust and who among everyone could be your true friend. It was depressing how it ended, but it was a terrific storyline that made me reflect on my high school experience, thankful that nothing from this anime ever presented itself in my reality. But I knew, in some parts of the world, some people were like this.
The characters in this storyline had toxic personalities, and as the audience, we never expected what happened. If one wasn't open-minded, then they shouldn't have watched this. This was only for those able to distinguish fiction and accept that not all stories were aligned with the moral standard of the world. It was to be watched at one's own risk.
