A very brief review for those of you who don't feel like reading a book: Mai Hime is one of if not the best anime I've ever seen. The story is gripping. The mentality of this story: The life of the one dearest to you will be taken of you fail. Not many anime can bring you to tears both from sadness and at times from hysterically funny moments. The only cons would be the art and at times the sound... yet you learn to love the unique style. Fantastic series! I'd watch it over and over again. So much to ponderin this anime. 10 all the way!!!
