Review of School Days

Story: This story is about a guy name Itou Makoto who rides on the train to school everyday. One day he sees a girl named Kotonaha and takes a picture of her. A classmate named Sekai then sees the picture and decides to help Makoto get together with Kotonaha. This anime story would have been fine but the amount of drama just ruined the story. Art: the art design was fairly good. The characters moved smoothly and it looks clean. Except for freaking episode 1 when the background look like the aliens from area 51. Sound: this may be the only thing I liked about thisanime. The music was beautiful and was appropriate for the scenes. Although most of the time it would play sad music because Makoto is a freaking idiot and does know any better.

Character: the characters in this show are paper thin. By the end of the anime I knew nothing about the characters except Makoto was despicable, Sekai went bonkers and Kotonaha is insane. In fact Makoto was the worst character. He cared about nothing or nobody which is ironic because he was a nice guy in the beginning of the anime. Makoto just treats the girls like objects and nothing more than that. Sekai was the one who helped him and she was one of the girls who had sex with him and I counted Makoto has sex with 7 Girls!

Enjoyment: I did not enjoy this anime that well. Like I said the only thing I liked was the music and kept me going.the ending everyone else enjoyed but I did not I won't say what the ending was, but I will say that Makoto did not deserve what he got.

Overall: this anime was just a chore to sit through. Horrible story, bad characters and an ending that left me speechless. My final verdict for this anime is a 3/10. It was a poor anime that I don't want anyone to see.
