Review of Redline

The movie tells an interesting story in an illegal sci-fi racing world. I feel like sci-fi and racing are a good match of genres in order to acquire enough story and tension. It felt like a European comic book which has been nicely animated. The characters fit perfectly into the story and have unique relationships between them. However something keeps me from giving it a 10, I still feel there's something missing to gain the masterpiece status. What it exactly is, is very hard to tell. The movie offers opportunities for a sequel or a whole different story in the same world. A great movie to introduce someonein the world of anime or for fans who are looking to get out of their comfort zone and try some new genres.
