Kokoro Connect is one of my personal favorite animes of all time. It's a series I watch multiple times a year just because of how much I enjoy it... Now that's not to say this anime doesn't have flaws, every anime has at least a few flaws however it's one of those animes that you love so much that you're able to look past those flaws just because of how much you enjoy it... Kokoro Connect includes tons of different genres all in one convenient package, from comdey, romance, drama and even a little bit of ecchi. The anime focuses mostly on drama however it's notafraid to add some comedy or ecchi to lighten the scene a little bit. The characters are extremely relatable and not a single person is able to just single handily fix all their problems, they have to help one another through all the problems they will face... Not even the main character Yaegashi Taichi is able to solve his problems on his own, he faces his own issues and is affected by the same things as everyone else. Taichi doesn't just feel like one of those invulnerable main protagonists that face no issues and are able to solve every issue with no problem. Even Taichi will have to rely on his friends every once and a while to remind him that he needs to keep moving forward and that he's not alone.

The plot for Kokoro Connect is amazing, I always love it when animes (espically drama's) deal with heavier topics and issues that LOTS of people deal with on a daily bases. I'm not gonna spoil what happens but if you're going to watch it be prepared for them to be dealing with some controversial subjects. They deal with these topics appropriately and efficently, the way they deal with their issues is very realistic and isn't just some "with the power of friendship we can get through anything and everything with no problem!" crap.

The anime only has 13 episodes and manages to get allot done in such a short amount of time. I'm honestly not a huge fan of the ending but it wasn't necessarily terrible, just ended a little to quickly. This anime may not be for everyone but if you're a fan of drama's like Your Lie in April and Angel Beats I think you'll be able to find some enjoyment in this anime...
