Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion
The show has a very entertaining story, but what I enjoyed about it was it's deeper meaning and it's impact on me. One thing I did enjoy about the story was how it was shown through children, and they had to hold themselves accountable as an adult would. I like the story and art, but those aspects don't compare to the development of Shinji or how well the audio was done. The brief pauses with natural background noises gave the viewer time to process the events that took place. I love how the mental image that this show conveyed remains in my head more firmlythan the visuals that were shown on screen. And the final piece that I would like to add is that at the end of every episode Fly Me to the Moon would play and it really made the show whole in a sense. There were so many emotions conveyed that I can't describe in a simple review.
