Review of Durarara!!

This is a review coming from a Durarara fan. Firstly, to sat something about the show. It's an action packed show, with a whole lot of stories viewed from multiple angles. Stories and arcs overlap non-chronologically, so it's recommended to watch this show quickly indeed. There is no storyline in this show that a MC follows or whatever. No, this anime takes a look at some interesting characters and their interactions, where you can find someone to your liking. Some characters may be overly one sided, but if they weren't so, the stories would be less interesting. Ofcourse, sometimes it may be predictable whatis going to happen, and one of the reasons for that is heavy usage of cliffhangers at the end of the episodes. It may be frustrating for some. The main thing that makes up Durarara is the characters, as I mentioned, not the story progress.

I recommend this show for people that like action, mystery, and those overlapping arcs. If you like shows with a lot of interesting characters and their mutual interactions ( Baccano, Gintama etc) you should like this one as well. I thoroughly recommend this show.

I do not recommend this show for people that don't like overarching, cliffhangers nor to the people that intently want a point in the story that everything leads to. If you are one of these people, you will be wasting your time and your nerves. The choice is up to you.

All in all, I objectively think this show deserves an 8,but since I took a great liking to it, (or should I say love), I gave it a 10.
