Review of Monster

-----------This review doesn't contain spoilers--------------------------- Okay dude that was a long tiring frustrating journey dude. But the question is: Is it worth it? absolutely Yes! PS: Never skip the ending song I repeat: NEVER SKIP THE ENDING SONG! That little animation in the ending helps you understand the story so never skip it Story: I'd give it a ten 10 because the only thing that kept me going through all of the crap animation and the slow frustrating pace is the story Can't think of suitable words to describe how I felt since the start till the end but it really got me in the theme like I didn'tfeel left out the events and everything. Give it to the amazing author

Characters: 1000 well do I have to explain why

I don't know if I am a psycho or what but Johan is the best antagonist ever hands down
And also Grimmer got me in the end. Well all characters are amazing and well written. You eventually realise that all of them are monsters, at least that what I understand from that ending

Enjoyment: 9 can't give it a 10 because the pace is a real problem in the show to be honest

Overall: 9/10

As I said before this show has a great story, well written characters and also the OSTs the OSTs are amazing too especially the opening that goes for all episodes and the first ending
BUT the pace is really annoyingly slow especially in some episodes where it really gets even worse.Other than that this show has no problems.

The ending of this anime really was something even though it may seem an open ending but it didn't seem like that for me. The ending scene in the hospital with Johan and Tenma made me think that every human being is a monster. No one is an angel even if they don't show it everyone has a moment of anger or depression when s/he gets terrifying thoughts as if s/he become someone else. Look at me! Look at me! The monster inside me has grown this big! Like you may find it scary but if you read it again and again you start to relate to it slowly. Johan personality is seriously very well written.After the final ep you can't really blame him,of course by killing people he wasn't right but his purpose at least has a strong base that you can't break that easily.
I feel like if I start I can never end this review. If you made it this far in reading then thank you to the monster inside of you.
