Review of School Days

[A Few Words Before...] Ohhh... I'm so pissed off! I originally wrote the review a few hours ago. But my mood is so bad that I want to bring back that Makoto Itou and f**king kill him with my own hands. It's 2:39 AM and I still can't get a sleep. I am dying to shovel down a still rod through his throat and split him into two... I don't know why but never in my life any character in any story made me so f**king pissed off. Saying so I feel a bit better. [Review] I thank the producers for this anime and I recommend everyone towatch and learn from it. The world is not so fluffy and dreamy, romance is not always innocent. Even a normal person can be destroyed by losing their mind over romance.

This anime is a depiction of how things work in the real world. There are so many morals to be derived. The story teaches you so many things. You learn the delicate difference between lust and romance, how people give in to greed, how a human life is destroyed. But what stands out the most - A SINGLE ROTTEN HUMAN CAN MAKE OTHERS ROT.

This anime also reflects how the young people in a norm less society are destroyed at such tender ages.

I watched this anime and I realized how the society is so sick. In a High school festival there is a rest room for couples to have sex and then it is recorded and showed to other students. Painful, but this is reality.

I really hope that people watch this anime and take lessons not become like any of the characters. So disgusting...

The story is great in its way. It is not unique in the real world but absolutely unique for an anime. The story is the worst case scenario of things to go. But it's totally realistic. Yes... I'm pissed off. Then again, the story is reality.

Characters - 10/10

The characters are the worst and splendid at the same time. I mean they played their role in story splendidly. But their role was disgusting. Oh how deeply I wish that people don't end up becoming like them! But these characters are real life characters and there will always be people like them.

I don't see any problem with the art or the sound.

Enjoyment - 9/10

It's a painful enjoyment. I was ached, depressed, frustrated. But I sticked with it till the end. It's fulfilling in its way. Just like a horror story. You are scared and having fun at the same time. In this case, you are sorry and having at the same time.

I understand why this anime has a low rating. People can't accept the bitter reality. They pretend that everything's fine and flowery. People don't want to feel guilty. That's why they avoid facing their conscience. I bet most of the people who underrated this anime may have felt these way. Otherwise there is no way for an anime with such a story can have a rating like 6.56. MAL ratings are as always meaningless.
