Review of Black Butler

So... I had originally dropped this because I was unsure of the premise in middle school, but I picked it back up again and I honestly find that it's not that bad. Victorian style clothing is my jam, which was what originally drew me to this anime, but the characters are interesting and likable. Although, I will say some things are confusing, and you can sort of tell that the manga must be significantly better. Like there are bits and pieces that aren't really explained in the anime but give you the sort of idea that it must be well thought out. I'll definitely begiving the manga a read before I make a full judgement of Black Butler as a whole. As for the anime, it's not a bad watch at all. Doesn't always explain everything, so if you're looking for a grand finale where everything ties together, you probably shouldn't watch it. But the clothing is pretty and the plot episode by episode is fun and interesting. Finnian was my personal favorite character. I also recommend watching it in sub, since some of the voice actors are a tad annoying in English. But overall, a good show. Not a bad watch.
