Casshern: Robot Hunter was a random pick, and I have not watched any Casshern series prior to this. While watching, I realized that I was trying to figure out what is what for the most part. Not sure if it was due to the lack of having watched any prequels or that the series itself was a little confusing. I found it quite hard to get into the story. The art of this series was okay. I wish the art would put a little more emotions into the characters' eyes though, but overall the style was quite in sync with the other anime productions during thattime, with wacky outfits and interesting proportions of the physique. The soundtrack, however, was excellent. All the featured pieces of music were pleasing, and I think they kind of fit with the theme very well.
