Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

I will always be a huge fan of shows that can give me "feels." I watched this show first on my own and then again with my boyfriend, and both times the final episodes made me burst into almost hysterical tears. I do feel the characters were less genuine than I felt they could have been, which is why the score is 9 instead of 10. Otherwise, this show hit me in all of the right emotions. One of the best emotionally charged shows I've seen in years. The realism surrounding friendship disintegrating years after tragedy, the difficulty of rekindling those emotions...I could probably watchit 10 more times and cry each time.
