Review of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (2009)

The "second season" was just a gap filler for the 2006 season. Most of the episodes I enjoyed and provided a lot of information left out in the 2006 season. Many things have been said about the Endless Eight arc, I am not going into them. The only thing I will say is it was just to show the extent of Haruhi's power. It seemed this arc was like a theme restaurant in Tokyo. They had a good idea and ran with it, but someone forgot to tell them to stop. The way i watch the Endless Eight arcis watch the first and last episode of the arc. You get all the information you need to continue on with the series. Story, art and characters are pretty much the same from the first series so I won't repeat myself. I suggest that you watch the two series together in chronological order it the 2009 series won't make any sense.
